The Venue

Built in 1910 for the Pratt family and designed by Charles Adams Platt, The Mansion at Glen Cove is a Georgian Revival estate on 55 North Shore acres — a two-story portico, a black-and-white marble foyer with a baronial double staircase, the chandeliered Garden Ballroom, a seasonal tent for the largest celebrations, terraces over the grounds, and an on-site hotel for the whole guest list.

Genesis Events has curated entertainment for luxury Long Island weddings since 2008. A house with this many rooms rewards a program that moves: a lawn or Crystal Room ceremony, cocktails on the terraces as the estate goes gold, and a Garden Ballroom — or a tent — with sound and lighting designed to the space you choose.
